Recently we had a tragic death in the family. The biohazard it made was horrendous and heartbreaking. Phill and his team responded even before the police left the scene. They were compassionate as much as they were efficient. They understood the grief my wife was going through and ‘erased’ the scene so she could enter without being traumatized. Being in law enforcement myself, I know how much hazmat cleanup can cost. BioOnePDX was extremely fair and cost effective. I honestly hope we never have to use them again for obvious reasons but if we did, I know we can trust them to take care of us as if we were part of their own family. A while back I had some rats take up residence in my garage, which is giant and mostly unused other than as a storage space. I had pest control come help me eliminate the guests but their party signs remained. After diligent research on safely handling rat droppings, I suited up with my $100 of PPE and gear and went to get to work on what I thought would be an unpleasant but manageable Sunday afternoon task. Thirty minutes in, I was ugly-crying into my half-face respirator mask on the garage floor, and clicked the first result that came up on a google search for help. I am beyond grateful that I ended up with the team that came to help a few days later. They were the most incredibly combination of compassionately kind, and masterfully, efficiently competent. It was a much bigger job than I realized, and they walked me through exactly what to expect, executed the job thoroughly, and left me with a functional garage. I wept when I saw it. I clean blown away by how kind and matter-of-fact everyone was. I am so grateful for their help.
